Introducing The Biophilic Book Club

The Biophilic Book Club is a new quarterly gathering for Living Future Oceania members, created to explore books that deepen our relationship with nature. Each session will spotlight a work chosen for its biophilic spirit — whether it’s an essay, poetry, or narrative writing that invites us to slow down, notice the living world around us, and appreciate our participation in it.

Our first lunchtime session will be held at 12.00pm on Friday, 5 June. We’re kicking off with Devotions by Mary Oliver — a poetry collection that traces her deep relationship with place, presence, and the more‑than‑human world. We think that makes it an ideal foundation for a book club devoted to biophilic thinking.
Bring your lunch, your curiosity, and your love of good conversation. We can’t wait to read with you.
Please note, this event is for Living Future Professional Members online. Sign up for a membership here.
