In the meantime, please prepare the following documents and media:

  • VIDEO narrative of the project (max 5 minutes – this is for internal judging only and can be very lo-fi e.g. shot on your phone).
  • WRITTEN biophilic design narrative in PDF format (max 3 pages). This should reflect the scale and typology of the project, recognising that all criteria may not be present for every project (e.g. extensive community engagement for a single family home). As part of this narrative please address the following criteria:
    1. Key biophilic design strategies and their intended outcomes
    2. How key strategies were achieved
    3. First Nations cultural guidance and design integrity
    4. Community engagement
    5. Reflection of place
    6. Contribution to education/advocacy about biophilic design
    7. How this project contributes to the Living Future vision – Socially Just, Culturally Rich and Ecologically Restorative
  • WRITTEN brief summary of biophilic impacts on occupants and operators may include testimonials and other data as appropriate (max 1 page)
  • IMAGES 3 -10 project photos (File format: *.jpeg or *.png, Resolution: 300ppi; Dimensions: ideally 1920px x 1080px, Size: 5MB max., With permissions)
  • SITEMAP this can be included in the video and should give the judges a clear idea of the project layout
