A certificate of course outcomes and attendance will also be provided to meet various CPD requirements. \nKey Information\nCourse Dates: The course runs from 27 August to 17 December 2024. The course runs for 17 weeks.  \n \nLearning Modes: Self-directed\, online workshops\, online learning circles (approx. 60 hours of content).\n \nTimeframe for Completion: The Zoom workshops and Learning Circles must be attended / completed with the 17-week course program. There is an unlimited timeframe for completing the ILFI Online Modules (i.e. you may complete them after the 17-week program finishes if required). You will be awarded your Living Future Accreditation once you have completed all components and modules. \nRequired Knowledge: A basic level of knowledge in sustainable\, green or regenerative design standards and principles\, for example Living Building Challenge\, Passivhaus\, WELL\, or Green Star. In her previous role at DesignInc\, Bohemia played a key role in delivering the Glenroy Community Hub\, which was the first public building in Australia to achieve Passivhaus certification\, and is targeting Living Building Challenge Petal certification. \nLaura Hamilton-O’Hara \nLaura Hamilton-O’Hara is a highly accomplished leader and advocate for environmental sustainability and social justice\, with over two decades of experience in the field. With a Master’s Degree in Social Ecology\, Laura possesses a deep understanding of the intricate connections between society and the natural environment.  Having held strategic positions at institutions such as Taronga Zoo\, Macquarie University\, and the Centre for Sustainability Leadership\, Laura’s professional journey has been marked by her passion for creating positive change. She was also recognised as one of the 50 Women in Global Sustainability Leadership by Sustainability X Magazine in 2022\, a testament to her influential role in shaping sustainable practices worldwide. Currently serving as the CEO of the LFIA\, Laura spearheads the organisation’s mission to harness the power of the built environment in creating a socially just\, culturally rich\, and ecologically restorative world. \nTricia Love\nTricia Love is the Director of Tricia Love Consultants Ltd\, based in Auckland\, New Zealand. After working on her first Living Building Challenge (LBC) project\, Tricia says she can’t go back to the way she used to do things. Trish trained as Building Services Engineer in the UK and spent nearly eight years working as a Mechanical Services Engineer firstly in the UK for Arup\, and then in New Zealand. In 2001\, she established Tricia Love Consultants Ltd to focus on sustainable design working on both LBC and Greenstar projects.
