DESCRIPTION:Become a local leader of the Living Future regenerative design movement\nLiving Future Accreditation (LFA) is a professional credential\, created by Living Future (previously ILFI)\, that recognises proficiency in the world’s most ambitious\, regenerative and holistic design standards such as the Living Building Challenge. With a Living Future Accreditation\, you have an opportunity to deepen your knowledge and expertise at the leading edge of regenerative design and Living Future programs. \nWho should attend?\nBuilt environment professionals in Australia and New Zealand who are eager to take action to transform our industry towards a regenerative design philosophy\, including: \n\n\n\nArchitects and Landscape Architects\nUrban Designers\nEngineers\nSustainability Professionals\nProject Managers\nDevelopers and Contractors\nSpecifiers\nManufacturers and suppliers\nInterior designers\nGovernment and policy leaders\nTeam and Community Leaders\nPhilanthropists\nEducators\nStudents\n\n\n\nFormat + Inclusions\nThe blended LFA program includes: \n\n\n\n20 hours of self-directed learning using online modules.\n15 hours of live workshops to explore turning theory into practice through case studies and guest speakers. Hear from local project teams\, key stakeholders\, and members of our Technical Working Group as we explore how to apply the Living Future Programs to the Australian and New Zealand context.\n5 learning circles to explore ideas further in smaller groups and build a community of practice.\n1 Digital copy of Creating Biophilic Buildings by Amanda Sturgeon.\n\n\n\nWhy this format?\nThe purpose of this blended LFA program is to make the most of online content\, whilst creating qualified LFA professionals grounded in the local context\, and who can operate as a cohort of connected people\, supporting each other as they take on projects into the future. \nWhy should you attend?\nDepth and diversification of advanced regenerative design knowledge:\n\nFamiliarity with Living Future’s certification programs\, labels\, and initiatives\nUnderstanding and taking a leading role in regenerative design\n\nProject and career opportunities for impact:\n\nGrowth in your capacity to work on and advocate for advanced regenerative design projects\nRecognition as a distinguished leader in your industry\nEligibility to fulfil the LFA project team member requirement on LBC 4.0 projects (per Imperative 20 ‘Inspiration & Education’)\nPreparation and confidence for working on projects pursuing Living Future Challenge certifications and labels\nPersonal use of post-nominal initials (LFA)\n\nGlobal community of LFA peers:\n\nConnection with fellow LFA professionals and Living Future Members through opportunities provided by LFIA and ILFI\nJoining a local and international community of practice that shares a common vision for a living future\n\nCompletion of this course will result in achievement of the Living Future Accreditation. A certificate of course outcomes and attendance will also be provided to meet various CPD requirements. \nKey Information\nCourse Dates: The course runs from 27 May to 12 September 2025. The course runs for 16 weeks.  \n \nLearning Modes: Self-directed\, online workshops\, online learning circles (approx. 60 hours of content).\n \nTimeframe for Completion: The Zoom workshops and Learning Circles must be attended / completed with the 16-week course program. There is an unlimited timeframe for completing the Online Modules (i.e. you may complete them after the 16-week program finishes if required). You will be awarded your Living Future Accreditation once you have completed all components and modules. \nRequired Knowledge: A basic level of knowledge in sustainable\, green or regenerative design standards and principles\, for example Living Building Challenge\, Passivhaus\, WELL\, or Green Star. You may also benefit from reading the LBC Program Manual before you start the course (for a brief overview\, click “get the basics” or for more detailed information click “access the program manual”).\n \nCourse Cost: AUD $3\,400.00 + GST (10% discount for members)\n \nPayment Options: Credit card or invoice.
